Angel City FC wasn’t just launching a soccer club—it was building a new sports culture grounded in equity, community, and purpose. The challenge was to get day-one fans, new authentics, and LA sports enthusiasts to commit financially through seat deposits, not just to attend games, but to help make history.

We tapped into sports FOMO with the rallying cry: “Take Flight. Volemos.”—a call to be part of something bigger before it takes off.

  • Messaging focused on the idea that there’s still time to get on board, but seats—and history—won’t wait.

  • A mix of social, digital, and grassroots activations amplified the urgency and pride of joining a purpose-driven team from the ground up.

To unite Angelenos from all walks of life we’ll have our owners “recruit” their fans to come join them in the stands. Playing off a little friendly competition amongst the stars about which can rally more of their fan base to buy seat deposits, ensuing friendly social media banter.
