Today I’m Brave: 100 Roofs Project
Rebuilding Roofs. Restoring Hope.
Insight:
Long after Hurricanes Irma and Maria devastated Puerto Rico, thousands of residents were still living without safe roofs over their heads. While emergency relief had faded, the need for long-term, sustainable recovery remained urgent. This wasn’t just about materials—it was about restoring dignity, security, and resilience to communities.
The Strategic Solution
The 100Roofs Project, led by Today, I’m Brave, went beyond immediate aid. The mission was twofold:
Direct Action: Deploy professional carpenters from New York to Puerto Rico to rebuild roofs for families in need.
Sustainable Impact: Launch an apprenticeship program to train local residents—empowering them with trade skills and creating lasting job opportunities in their own communities.
The campaign combined grassroots storytelling, social media, and fundraising efforts to galvanize support and drive donations. It wasn’t just about rebuilding structures—it was about rebuilding lives.
